Jack Latimore – Author’s Response

My immediate response upon seeing generated images is that the AI lacks organic creativity – it drums up glossy images okay though.

The image of the demented father in psychotic Micky-mouse ears leading his children across perilous power line high wire passage is my pick of the bunch (see Edition 05-A1C). Doesn’t have much to do with the prompt, but I like it.

Other aspects that piqued my curiosity is the fascistic symbology, but on consideration that’s ripping and riffing straight from what is already generally in play with superhero narratives.

… a meth-psychotic desperate to allocate meaning to loose digital debris.

In summary, the images are a mess of incongruous parts constituting a whole that lacks any genuine artistic or narrative value. At best they could be departure points for a meth-psychotic desperate to allocate meaning to loose digital debris.
